Starting Over
I did not like my original June page project so
I cut it apart and started over. I worked on it
all morning.
I kept the pansy but redid the background and
used 6 x 8 Lacy's Stiff Stuff Beading Foundation
on the back with fusible.
I picked out the colors of lucite flower and leaf
to match the beaded pansy for corners. It looks
Victorian. They are not heavy and the fusible
gives more support. The project is about 25
hours.
I am very glad that I started over and tomorrow
I am hoping to start my July page project. I will
use the same size of beaded flowers and 6 x 8
fabric.

Your June Page is beautiful, the pansy looks very life like and I think the flowers and leaves do add a feeling of victorian to the piece.
Oh, beautiful! You definitely made the right decision. It was great before, but now it sings!
It is very pretty.
I like the way you changed it.

Yes, this is a good change... the pansy looked lonely in the first version... now it looks happy. Good decision!
I like the changes you made and it does indeed have quite a Victorian feel to it. You stitched that pansy beautifully!

Very nice. I like the changes you made. It has a 'complete' look to it now -- and very lovely.

The changes you made were exactly right and gives the piece a terrific finished look. What a talent!
I love the way you finished it-the flowers around the pansy are beautiful :o) Lillian
Oh, I hate having to start all over... When I make mistakes, I just bead right over them. LOL.
Thank you all for feedback. It's very helpful and good to hear that you all liked the changes I made.

I really like this piece! I love the way you framed the pansy with the flowers. It added depth and texture to the finish it nicely.
Cheers, Denise
I really like the new and improved version of your pansy. It not only looks more finished but neater too if that makes sense.
This looks so fresh and happy, bravo !
