3 Day Project

I picked out some seed beads to match the
flower photo.

I used regular paper to cut-out and applied
Lacy's Stiff Stuff. I looked at the photo to
draw.

I started beading in the middle.

On the 3rd day I painted it pink and started
around the petal edges.

Really nice and a good imitation of Mother Nature! Your drawing was right on (sometimes mine is and sometimes it isn't). Your colors matched so well too.

Several BJP members are doing flowers... I love to see them and appreciate how the beads enhance the natural beauty! Yours certainly does. Beautiful palette, beautiful work! Robin

Very interesting process that you are doing with your flower...kinda a stumpwork, I believe. I have been looking through your blog and was inspired by your weight loss. I hope one day I can say I lost so much weight. I would love to email you about how you did this.
