Maple Spring Farm
I saw sheep on the way home Sunday from Paoli and it
is my favorite because 4 sheep were watching me when
I was taking pictures.
This is same red barn with close up of flowers. It feels
like autumn!

Brooklyn and Paoli road trip
Paoli Ice Cream Shop
Paoli Cheese Shop
Paoli Mill
Paoli Schoolhouse
It was raining all day long yesterday and I found
the Southern Wisconsin Studio Art Tour from the
Weekender Guide and I looked it up on the internet.
Dean and I went to Brooklyn to see one of the beaders.
She makes beautiful PMC link bracelets. We had a very
nice chat. I have been interested in making Precious
Metal clay for a long time.
We stopped at Paoli on the way home. I took some pixs
of the Historic Paoli schoolhouse, Paoli Cheese Shop and
Paoli Mill. After I took pictures, I went to Paper Arts at
Paoli Mill. Handed-made papers, cardstocks, rubber
stamp and collage items. Very nice shop!

Mother of Pearl Flowers
Barbara's Garden
I slept like a baby last Tuesday night. Yesterday morning
I took some pictures of Barbara's garden. She has beautiful
morning glories with a white fence. Barbara gave me some
tomatoes and peppers from her garden to take home.
Her husband, Mark made us a good breakfast with omelets,
toast, orange juice and teas.
My first stop on the way home was at Appleton I went to the
Glass Onion Studio. It is a bead store and the owners make
fused dichroic pendants and beads.
My second stop was at Oshkosh. I went to the Paine Art Center
and Gardens.
I love the colors of Barbara's morning glories!

Green Bay Truck Show
I just got back from Green Bay. Yesterday my friend, Barbara
from Green Bay and I had a wonderful chicken salad sandwich
at Alpha Delights in De Pere.
After lunch we went to the truck show and bought alot of nice
beads. I found some mother of pearl flowers and I fell in love
with them. I will take pictures of my new beads tomorrow.
Barbara and I went to the Green Bay Botanical Garden. The
garden was very nice.
It rained very hard on the way to Barbara's house. It was cool
after the rain. Barbara made a super of tuna fish salad with
delicious bakery bread.
My favorite pictures of flowers is with fences.
Here is a picture of Barbara at the Children's Garden where
she used to work.

Early Birthday
This is blue morning glories. I took some pictures this morning
after I took the dogs for a walk.
At 8 AM this morning, my daughter's dog " Bear " came to our
bedroom, he wanting me to take him out for a long walk ( 1 mile ).
I took Jasmine out, too.
For lunch, we had bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches. We had
our daughter and her boyfriend and Dean's parents as lunch guests.
After lunch I opened two gifts. I got some nice scented candles and
the last gift I got was a very nice Zenith DVD/CD player for my early
birthday gift. Jenni burned my pictures on to CD and we watched
flower pictures that I took yesterday at the Allen Centennial Gardens.
It is like a slide show and I love it!
Thanks so much Dean, Jennifer, Bill and Shawn.

Fried Zucchini Flowers
Here is a recipe on how to make fried zucchini flowers.
Wash the flowers and let them dry, cut the flowers in
half, remove the stems and stamens. Flour on both sides,
melt butter in pan, fry them with salt and pepper to make
them brown. I got the recipe from my bead friend, Lisa
who is Italian. It is very good.

Abalone Shore
This is first project of the Abalone Shore coral reef neckpiece that
I made today. I don't know if I will use a large abalone pendant or
a gemstone focus pendant that I used for the turquoise & carnelian
coral reef neckpiece. I used turquoise, keisha pearls, pink coral
branches and abalone chips with 14/0 mixed bronze charlotte seed
beads.
