Dean, Jasmine and I bicycled along Lake Mendota bike path today. Chuck the anti photographer snapped our picture. It was about 55 degrees and overcast.
The necklace had been strung less fringes and at last the fringing has been added. Lots of pressed flower and leaf glass beads. Also used some large blue pearls.
I crossed stitched and framed the cross-stitch sampler after Jennifer's birth. Jennifer celebrated her 23rd birthday yesterday. We went out to eat at the Olive Garden last night.
This is my favorite walk/bike trail not so far from my house. I photographed some flowers, ducks at the pond and still life in late September and early October.
Jasmine's favorite past time is cycling. Her choice of bicycles is Cannondale. Her flannel coat, Petsmart. My favorite past time is cycling. I have lost 30 pounds by dieting, walking, working out 3 times a week and spinning class at the health club. Spinning replicates the cycling experience.
Last week this autumn leaf was covered with sleet and snow. Now all the snow is gone. I was so busy with two art fairs in October and November in Alabama and Wisconsin. I don't have any more shows thru Dec.
My girlfriend and I went to Demopolis, Alabama. She had a show at the beauty salon all day long. I explored and took some great pictures of old buildings. It is about an hour drive from Northport.
Please plan to join me for the Winter Art Festival in Madison next weekend Nov. 11-12, booth #16. This is a wonderful show over 144 Wisconsin artists. This year I made alot of new flower earrings and wire- wrapped jewelry. I look forward to seeing you there ! Jean
The apple-green head of Romanesco broccoli resemble clusters of tropical coral. I bought it from Farmer Market last Saturday. Descripition: created a great deal of interest when grown at the Scottist Horticultural Research Institue, yet it is very widely grown in northern Italy. Should be cooked and served individually with melted butter. Dean and I walked around the capitol.
I have been getting up to walk early each morning at a nearby park with Jasmine. They have all these great walking trails and I have started to ride my Cannondale bike.
Tuesday was my birthday. I cooked dinner for our family. I didn't feel like going out because I am on a diet. I have lost ten pounds over a month. Wednesday I went to Milwaukee to a bead tour and I bought some gems and pearls. Thursday I lunched with my friends, Lisa and Georgia.
Georgia was showing Lisa her Silpada jewelry.
Here is a self portrait of our bead circle. Our friend Mary Ann is missing as she passed away from ovarian cancer at the age of 58. Joan moved to Florida.
Last Saturday night we were invited to Jenni and Bill's apartment for dinner. Jenni crafted a hot flame curtain for the kitchen and used my ribbons to make a curtain for her living room.
Jenni and Bill has a salt water fish tank with coral and starfish.
