The temperature was 20 degrees today and it was much better than
yesterday.
I hiked late this afternoon at Owen Park for an hour. I love low lighting
but my fingers and toes were cold.

Owen Park
Dean and I hiked at Owen Park last week. This picture reminds me of
Starry, Starry Night. Hope to go back soon. The weather is terribly cold!
This is my January project, a free-form embroidery that I weaved with a lot of fringe. I named it " Midnight Tidepool. " So far it has been fun weaving. I like the flow of colors. I finished it today.
I was working on a rectangle donut clasp that uses 2 snap buttons. My clasp inspiration came from my facebook friend Linda Cimins. She made some beautiful loomed work and loom patterns. I love her work.
I started my January project yesterday after joining the Bead Journal Project 2013 group. I am choosing coral reef for my theme and will make 12 cuffs. My color inspiration for this month are blue, brown, orange and tan. I am going to use felt for the cuff base.

Bead Journal Project 2013 This will be my third year participating in the Bead Journal Project. The first year I finished all 12 flower pins. The second year I did not finish all 12 projects and did 5 months. I was working a lot and did not have time to bead. Looking forward to starting again in January.
I am back! Sorry that I haven't blog for a long time. Here is my latest cuff made from shells that I found in Florida. The 3 beaded pieces are not new and I am glad that I finished a few days ago.
